System Hallmarks: Ah, that tube sound…take a groovy floorstander with a tube designed pedigree, direct-coupled to the amplifier, you get the Veena. Team it up with some other sleeper gear and for a hair over 5K, you have some sweet, alive, visceral sound that will fool your friends with its musicality. Simple, dynamic, sweetness in the midrange, honest, truthful to the amp bass without any crossover to muddy things up and this is one tidy little system-a real overachiever. (I played the speakers with a $20K front end and the holography was frightening. Be careful, you could get addicted to tube rolling…)
